How much can you fit into a day?

Every day on tour is an adventure, full of surprises and unexpected moments. It's like living in a sitcom, where anything can happen. Although the tour is well-planned, we always keep an open mind and embrace the wonderful opportunities that come our way.

It's amazing how a simple change in perspective can turn an ordinary experience into an extraordinary one. Spending time with a camel adorned with an embroidered neckpiece or carefully observing the quilts on its back was a unique experience yesterday.

We rode on a horse-drawn cart to the salt flats on the India-Pakistan border.

While having lunch at a local guest house, I suddenly recognized the place and realized that I had stayed there before. It was a pleasant surprise to see the small villa where I had slept during my previous visit.

The afternoon held surprises. We visited a small village where locals offered to host a mirrorwork workshop for women next year.

The young man guiding us explained that the women had decided on the color scheme and pattern for the newly decorated houses for Diwali.

As we travel, we came across the water marshes and observed the diverse bird species.

As we journeyed through the town, we were greeted by a beautiful sight - a gathering of cows eagerly waiting to receive blessings from passers-by.

As the evening approached, we had the pleasure of visiting Mr. Wazir's home. Salim Wazir, the son of the late and esteemed Mr. AA Wazir, possesses an impressive collection of museum-quality textiles from Kutch and beyond. He is a wealth of knowledge of Kutchi arts and culture. I always make it a point to visit the family whenever I take a group to Bhuj. It's truly a wonderful experience to witness and feel these museum-quality artifacts.
