Today we arrive into the Delhi Airport and transfer to the hotel

MARCH 09

Today after breakfast in morning we do panoramic tour of old and New Delhi.

First, we go to old Delhi. In the morning hustle and bustle we drive through narrow lanes of old Delhi, spice and lace, textile markets on rickshaws.

Later we drive past to New Delhi see panoramic view of president house, India Gate and lots of other government buildings.

Later we visit the most famous craft museum and admire the craft of India. Later we come back to our luxury hotel. Rest of the day at leisure

MARCH 10

Today after delicious breakfast we shall start our journey by coach to the city of Taj mahal Agra. On arrival we check into hotel which is very close to Taj mahal.

Afternoon we visit the most famous iconic building and symbol of love

” Taj mahal’’ Our expert guide shall take you around and give in depth details and history of this world- famous monument. You will have an opportunity to take group photos or personal photos taken by expert photographers. Today after delicious breakfast we shall start our journey by coach to the city of Taj mahal Agra.

Later we visit to see the famous hand craft of Agra which is marble inlay work .it is such an exquisite and beautiful art that you will sure admire it.Later we return to our hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. 

MARCH 11

Today after breakfast we see red fort and visit gold embroidery place.

After noon rest at hotel. Evening we have rickshaw ride in kinari bazar in Agra and look for laces and breads. Also witness a wonderful theatrical show making of taj .return to hotel. Dinner

MARCH 12

Today after breakfast we drive to Jaipur. En route we stop for lunch. Arrive Jaipur

After breakfast check out from hotel. Drive to Jaipur and transfer to the crown plaza hotel where we will stay for the next 7 nights.

Evening visit to a neighborhood to see Holi fire ceremony. BACK TO HOTEL DINNER Welcome dinner

March 13

This morning following a delicious buffet breakfast, we will have a class with pam Holland.

Later at 11.30 we shall visit to mela ground to play Holi festival. Following this we will drive to a children’s orphanage for a very special visit to play Holi with them.

Arrive at hotel and rests of the day at leisure dinner at a vegetarian Indian restaurant. DINNER 

March 14 

After breakfast we visit village Sanganer

To see block makers, then visit to see a working paper factory and learn more about this unusual craft. Then we will all participate in our first craft workshop where we will meet a master artisan and learn the folk style art of Indian “Kantha” quilting.

Afternoon we have our second craft workshops the block printing and tile painting workshop, where we learn about the techniques and colors and we print our own cloth piece. And make a tile.

BACK TO HOTEL

March 15

This morning very early, we will enjoy a wonderful buffet breakfast. drive to the extraordinary Amber Fort. During our drive we will learn more about the city of Jaipur as we pass many iconic structures and places. This afternoon we will visit an Indian carpet weaving factory and also see a precious gem cutting demonstration. We will return to our hotel later in the day.

March 16TH

Today morning we visit old city of Jaipur to wonder in flower market, vegetable market

Visit to a big Krishna temple. We shall have rickshaw ride in the old city bazar and we look for bangles, spices, sooty cloths and other local things in bazar.

Afternoon we have a wonderful lunch at a heritage palace.

Afternoon we visit to buy some more cotton fabrics and get your dresses made at a garment manufacture. Later we return back to hotel. Evening drink with pam. a local master henna artist will be at our hotel to paint some traditional Indian designs on our bodies.

LUNCH

March 17TH

After breakfast we drive to visit this famous small village bagru to have in-depth workshop of Dabu and indigo dyeing. We shall see the people washing and drying the cloth, we shall have a complete workshop of Dabu printing and indigo dyeing for everyone with a piece of cloth .to make your own design and take it with you.

We visit to see embroidery factory how they are working on modern machines.

Later Back to hotel

March 18TH

Today after breakfast we visit the puppet makers and visit their houses in slums. We go to get our cloths and garments.

We visit a famous miniature painting school. And we learn about this fantastic art of miniature painting by a master artist.

LATER class with pam Holland

March 19TH

Today morning free afternoon we visit to see wood carving and stone carvers and antique collectors place. Return to hotel  a local master henna artist will be at our hotel to paint some traditional Indian designs on our bodies.

March 20TH

After breakfast we visit old city and have free time for some souvenirs.

Today we visit a Rajput family and have dinner at their house. We learn about local cuisine and family structure of a Rajput family.

DINNER

March 21ST

Today after delicious breakfast we shall start our journey by coach to Delhi for transfer for return flight.
