Who are we?
I'm Pam Holland, and I lead a multifaceted life as a wife, a mother to 13 children, a grandmother to 28 beautiful grandchildren, an award-winning textile artist, a photographer, a dedicated tutor, a published author, and an experienced presenter. Over the past 25 years, I have been sharing my expertise in textile art through teaching across the globe, following an earlier career as a fashion designer,
During my extensive travels, I have been privileged to lead and teach small tours across different continents, including Africa, India, Thailand, and Costa Rica. I have also incorporated my passion for textiles into my travels, visiting places like Mexico, Guatemala, Japan, the Middle East, and Britain.
Inspired by these diverse experiences, I decided it was time to embark on a new venture. Hence, Marigold Textiles Art and Adventures was born. Our company is tailored for individuals eager to delve deeper into textiles and art while venturing off the beaten path to immerse themselves in local cultures and learn from artisans worldwide.
A significant part of this endeavor involves my partnership with Govind Agrawal, an exceptional tour guide from India renowned for his profound knowledge of history, culture, and textiles in India and beyond. Together, as an unexpected duo, we bring a unique blend of expertise and firsthand experience to offer enriching and unforgettable journeys.
